New Citroen C3 is the second car that is going to be launched from Citroen India has been tested on Indian roads for some months now. Until a few months ago, it was on test wearing camouflage which exited everyone. But recently, the camo has come off. The latest spy shots of the Citroen C3 test mule are from somewhere near Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Citroen C3 test unit which did not have camouflage and looked like a top variant with dual-tone. While the exterior looks stunning and looks like a mini C5 aircross, we could finally see a sneak peek into its interiors and especially its dashboard which looks very premium in this segment.

The 2022 Citroen C3 is based on a Common Modular Platform which is a global product and the first mass-produced Citroen car for the Indian market and this car will change the face of the entire segment. This sub 4 meter Suv is produced in India at Citroen’s Thiruvallur plant near Chennai. The French OEM confirmed that they are looking at the group levels of the Indian car segment which is greater than 90%, which will help Citroen to price C3 really aggressively in this highly competitive segment where tata punch and swift is ruling. The most probability we can witness Citroen producing c3 in India and exporting it to various global markets. As of now Citroen C3 looks stunning and this is going to be the most beautiful SUV in this segment, we can see the French design and styling in every corner of this car and it also has an interesting dual-tone color option. Some main highlights include its beautiful split headlamps, massive wheel arches, body-colored ORVMs. This car also gets a 180mm ground clearance which really helps on the roads of India. So Citroen has made this model purely for Indian roads.

dual tone dash board, chain like AC vents and an iconic Citroen steering wheel

Coming to safety, it will come along with ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and dual front airbags and this car will be a perfect city car .From some of the Reports it suggest that C3 will be powered by a 1.2 litre petrol motor also available with and without a turbocharger with 81 bhp while with turbo the motor is expected to get about 100 bhp. Transmission options will be a 5 speed MT and first in segment DCT automatic which will be fun to ride with easy gear shifts.

April or May. Citroen C3 is going to be placed in a very competitive segment
where multiple hatchbacks and entry-level crossovers like Maruti Suzuki Swift,
Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Tata Altroz, Tata Punch,
Renault Kiger, Honda Jazz and Nissan Magnite are ruling the segment so Citroen
C3 should be priced aggressively in and around Rs 5-10 lakh price bracket.
