Motorcycle Launches Delayed By Coronavirus
Due to this lockdown carmakers have to postpone
planned car launches in India which were likely to go on sale between March and
May 2020. Here is a list of upcoming car launches in India that have been
postponed due to this situation.
Jawa Perak from the Jawa team was
officially launched in November 2019. They also scheduled to start deliveries
from April 2, 2020 onwards.
This monster with 334cc
single-cylinder engine is the first factory built Bobber bike powered by 30bhp
and 31Nm of peak torque. Perak comes with a BS6 engine so this will be a
perfect Bobber bike for riders. Jawa Perak is priced at Rs 1.94lakh
(ex-showroom). However the lockdown in India delayed the deliveries of this
beast.

Benelli Imperiale 400
Benelli Imperiale 400 is the
first compliant offering from Benelli India which was expected to go on sale
from April. It has an updated 374cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that
meets the new emission norms with a power increase from the current variant at 20.7bhp and 29Nm
of peak torque.
Hero Xtreme 160R
The all new Hero Xtreme
160R looks very sporty with a new frame, LED lighting, LCD instrument console,
engine kill switch and more.
It has a 160cc
single-cylinder fuel-injected motor that provides 156bhp power and 14Nm of peak
torque with a 5-speed gearbox. The expected price will be between Rs
90,000-95,000 (ex-showroom). But the launch has been delayed for this beauty.

2020 Triumph Tiger 900
The Triumph Tiger 900 is an adventure tourer
for the off-road riders of India. There is a major upgrade for the tiger right
from the engine to the body design. But the launch has been affected by the
corona lockdown.

2020 Triumph Street Triple RS
The new Triumph Street Triple RS
gets a great upgrade of BS6, 765cc three-cylinder engine that develops 9
percent more power and 121bhp with 79Nm of peak torque.
The bike offers a
meatier mid-range performance and was planned to launch on March 25,2020.
Unfortunately the motorcycle launch has been delayed and expected to launch
after corona lockdown.
